I’m Destiny

As a kid, I was the one with color-coded folders, sticky notes, and a pack of gum, maybe that’s where my wedding-planning brain first kicked in?! I grew up in Houston (go ‘Stros!) but became fascinated with New Orleans at an early age. You know those places you dream of living? For me, that’s always been New Orleans. Ask me my favorite place to eat here and I’ll give you five… and probably directions to each.

I built DIFY Events with one goal in mind: working with couples who want to do whatever the hell they want on their wedding day. Trendy? Not trendy? Following tradition? Tossing every single one out the window? It’s all fair game. My only focus is making sure your wedding feels unapologetically you, because traditions are optional, but having the time of your life isn’t.

    I cannot put into words how great it was to work with Destiny. She truly made our wedding day what it was. She worked with us the year following up to the wedding, we were in Michigan which was so helpful to feel prepared. She was great at communication and constantly checking in. The day of our wedding we had unexpected rain that made us scramble, and she truly saved our day making sure no the guests didn’t even notice anything was happening.
